Its been awhile since I last did this, but while I'm d/l these games, I notice it is really "bogging" down the network throughout the house. Is this normal or what? I can't remember if it was like this last time.

If I'm downloading a game and seeding 1 or 2 my connection slows down...right now it's like I have a 56k modem :(

BTW, I appreciate whoever is seeding the Iowa game, but it's going super, super slow. It took me less than 8 hours to download the spring game with 4 or 5 seeds....with only 1 seed I'm currently looking at around 9-10 days for the Iowa game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I first started downloading(I'm doing the Texas and scUM games), one of them was going crazy. It went as high as 1000+ Kb/s. I believe that was on the Texas game. After about a minute it died down and now its under 10 kb/s. I don't know what would explain that. However it totally died. No one is seeding. Only 38 MBs is downloaded. I actually have more on Michigan game, about 300 mbs.

My dad has got into the program and now is d/l music.

We decided to only d/l when no one is trying to use the internet. Like at the middle of the night. Strangley enough, the internet works half-well on the computer that is doing the downloads. However the rest of the computers are basically dead and pages won't load.

Piratebay fixed a lot of their server problems and a bunch of torrents are now working. Here's whats changed:

I can seed the Texas DVD as soon as I find it on my hard drive.
Can some please, please, please seed the Iowa game....I'm looking at download speeds of less than 3kB/s. I'm still looking at Thursday or Friday to have it done. :(

Also, the Notre Dame 1995 game looks like it has no seeds.

Part of my problem is that we only d/l either: when we aren't home, or we are sleeping. Makes d/l games even harder because we are only running it about half the time. We have 6 computers on the network, which the torrent d/l basically kills internet access. To the point where pages won't even load.

So even when I finally get this game, I will only be able to upload at certain times.

I just hope when I get this, that I can burn it to DVD. I want to have a couple games to watch on the plane, when I go on vacation in about 3 weeks.

My upload speeds are bouncing between 20 and 50kB/s on the scUM game and between 30 and 60kB/s on the Fiesta Bowl.
The Iowa game is downloading at a whopping 1.5kB/s.

I'm not sure exactly how the figures work for the swarm, but it's basically how many people are seeding and how many people are downloading. If you're downloading and it says there are 5 seeds and 5 peers in swarm, there should be 11 pie charts on the "swarm" screen....I believe.

I have removed the following games, it seems enough people have finished and are now seeding. I haven't had anyone connect in a while.

scUM 2004 is now off
scUM 2005 is now off
ND vs tOSU Fiesta Bowl is now off

I have added these games in their place.

1995 ND vs tOSU - per request from Findlay (sorry, don't have Iowa)
1996 ND vs tOSU - can't get enough Domer beatings
1995 Illinois vs tOSU - Eddie's big day

I will leave these up until I see inactivity again after a few days. This will give everyone time to see this thread and get them started...Thanks to everyone who is helping out with seeding. This coming season ought to have some very quick downloads with so many people getting involved. It is much appreciated. And a special thanks to ROCK3TM4NN and timBUCK2 for getting this started and the continuing work they are doing. You guys rock!! Be sure to pass out those greenies people!!

I wish I could help you guys that are having trouble, but I've never had any problems, so I have no idea why yours may not be working...Sorry...

Seeds 1 = how many people are seedin at the time. (2) = have the file but are off line.
So you have 1(2) = 3 people have the full file 1 is seeding, and 2 are off line and are not seeding at the time.

I'm still having troubles-

I downloaded the Java, Azureus, and VLC player.

I have all open and running.

I click on the Spring Game, and click 'open'.

It goes to Azureus, and is queuded: last.

I wait for about 15-20 minutes, but it doesn't start downloading.

Am I missing a step?

Open Azreus and right click on your torrent. Then a drop down will open, click on the 1st one (Show details). But that will tell you everything about your torrent you are downloading. Look where it says tracker status and see what it says. It should let you know what is wrong. I am at work right now so I can't explane it.
When I get home I will post more, around 4:30PM eastern.


If you guys have any more question let me know, I have been using Azureus for about 2 1/2 years now.
