Hmmm... that's not right, all you really need to do is throw the video_ts folder on a disc and it should work.

That's what I tried to do at first, but it said my disk was full when it was adding the files to be burned (which doesn't make any sense, because my disk has a 4.38 GB capacity, while the Video_ts folder is only 3.45 GB).

So then I tried to add each file in the Video_ts folder individually, and the 99 title prompt comes up.

EDIT: Nevermind, I got it working. Nero has way too many programs to choose from, and I was using the wrong one.

seeding

I'd really appreciate it if you guys could seed longer. I've uploaded 80GB, meaning that in an ideal world, I would have 25+ seeders. Instead, I think I've got about 3. (and I think I could probably name them)

I'm more than happy to keep my seed server up, but it's really slowing down the new releases and overall download times for everybody. Please try to pitch in a little bit more!

Thanks,

Tim

i'd love to seed guy but its taking me forever to even get the games for myself. your right as i'm downloading 4 games right now and 3-5 seeders total when i'm checking it out...

anyone that can seed for awhile would be a BIG help to other Buckeye fans...

thanks

GO BUCKS!!! :osu:

firewall

arian1source - There are many different variables in the download speed with torrents.
1) You need to make sure no firewall is blocking you (a lot of times you will need to forward ports to the ports that you are using to download the torrents --- reference you torrent program to find out which ones it uses)...
2) The more you upload to others, the better your download will be as a general rule.
3) There needs to be multiple seeders for good speeds. Sometimes when a torrent is new, everyone will have slow speeds until more people get the completed file. You can't download what nobody has yet.
4) Make sure you have a few ports open so that multiple connections can take place -

Basically you can download even if a firewall is blocking you - Because the firewall is usually allowing you to ping them and therefore you can get some from them, but it won't allow them to ping you, so the program their using will tell them that you are not worth their time...

hope that helps a bit - look at material your torrent program puts out

i'm trying to get the entire 2006 season but its estimated time is anywhere from 3 days to 25 days for the Illinois game. The 2005 season says it will take 36 days for the entire season. ALL the ones i'm downloading are from TimBuck5's on demoniod.

can i get some seeders?
thanks

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Tim and everyone else involved in making these things available.

I stumbled across the 2005 megapack right around Thanksgiving and decided to give it a shot. I'd run it a little here and there. But it really took off once I realized that I had lost my port forwarding on an old router. Once I fixed this, my download went from 20k to 80k just like that. Needless to say, I can't upload that fast, but we're working on getting that ratio back up where it needs to be.

I'm also not a Demonoid member, but I did find that 1969 Rose Bowl torrent on another site (I tried to find where but wasn't successful). It allowed me to get the torrent without registering. I was also able to get the '95 and '96 bowl game torrents for later, but I don't want to start downloading them until I get my ratio back up. I wasn't able to get any of the other games though (I didn't try 2006 yet...I'm hoping there'll be a mega pack for it after Monday's game).

As for burning, so far, I only burned the 2005 Michigan game. I used the free version of Deep Burner and it worked like a charm.

One thing, when I put the DVD into my player (I have some LG upconverting player that can play Divx files), I wasn't getting any audio. I had to manually change an audio setting to make it look for PCM instead of Bitstream. Once that was finished, then it looked and sounded great!

It'll be nice to be able to go back and watch these games 10 years from now. A time when some of these guys may be stars in the NFL, or just to be able to laugh and say "Yeah. I remember THAT guy."

Oh, and I know this is only my first post, but I do have a request. Does anyone happen to have the 1995 OSU/Illinois game? You know, the one where Eddie went wild? I ask because I was at that game...down in the student section (thank you recent graduate who sold me the tickets for very cheap). It was my first OSU game and it was a blast. I'd love to see it again.

Once again, thanks and GO BUCKS!

So, I haven't been able to sleep a wink tonight. I'm about 75% decided to not produce a DVD of whatever the hell I saw last night.

Gator nation has gotten enough glee out of this, and quite frankly, there is absolutely nothing that I want to see in that game. Even Teddy's TD was capped off by a season ending celebration injury...

Thoughts?

how about just the double Script Ohio from the start of the game?

It was a very hard pill to swallow. That could not have been the Buckeye team I have seen play every game the last two years and a couple of games at the end of 04. But no matter what I still would like to have that game in my collection. It is OK if you don't put one up Tim, someone else probably already has a cap up, but yours are just special. No other college in America has a fan putting their teams games up to download in a collectors edition like you do. I thank you for all the effort you put into this, but don't get discouraged. I am not sure what I saw last night, but if it was alot of those guys last game I would really like to have it just to complete the season. Just my opinion, and I will completely understand if you don't put this game up as a torrent. It is alot easier to do this when our beloved Buckeyes aren't on the short end of the stick.
