I guess I would remind everyone (including myself) that we were worried that we would already have a loss at this point in the year. We don't have one. I am really happy to have the opportunity to be 10-0. Feel fortunate to be part of something so special.

That being said...we have retained the Illibuck long enough that Illinois will not even want to know what has been done to that trophy. '07 is enough to remind me how much I hate them. I will be up early to adamantly oppose them.

Lots of things to focus on for this game. Obviously get the W. Stay injury free is key, especially with three very physical games following this game. Get the Offense rolling again. Continue to work on stopping the run game ( we did well against Minny).

Two-Minute Drill: Urban Meyer Post-Practice Updates November 11

+ Johnnie Dixon is out. He has a slight fracture of his knee cap. Parris Campbell is probably. Dontre Wilson they do not know yet how soon he will play.

+ Tommy Schutt is good to go and will play.

+ Damon Webb is not yet 100% due to a high ankle sprain. He's a competitive guy and the coaches love him. Marshon Lattimore has a tight hamstring and is questionable this week.

Congrats to Sean Nuernberger for winning back FG duties. After he hit those long ones in the spring game last year I thought he was going to be a good one. Hopefully this gets him back on track. He's just a sophomore and could still have a great career.

Is Dontre Wilson's current injury a continuance of last year's foot injury or is this a separate issue? It's crazy how long this has persisted when he was actually able to play sparingly in the national championship game.

For some reason when our guys have nagging injuries they just never seem to go away and it has to be driving them crazy.

Hmmmmm, Illinois makes me think of Red Grange, George Hallas, J.C. Caroline, Dick Butkus, and a "mean as cat shit" defensive end the year Eddie George put 300+ on em in a rout. And I wonder why they're not a consistent top 20 team only to realize that in between Grange and Hallas, J.C. Caroline, Dick Butkus and the DE (whose name will not come to me) is nothing but crap. How can a state with Chicago and a bunch of medium sized cities not produce a consistently solid football program?

This game has me worried. I can't watch it at all. There's only 3 games I haven't watched in the last two season so far: VT last year, PSU last year, and NIU this year. Not a very good set of games when I'm not paying attention. Survive and I'm good for the remainder.
