tOSU @ Indiana, Sat 1/10 @ 12p ET on ESPN/WatchESPN

Cut the deficit from 11 to 6 by halftime. Still in it but can't have the defensive lapses in the second half and it wouldn't hurt if we made a few shots, too.

I don't get to watch often (those 8:30 and 9PM start times kill me) but Tate gets it....I'm fine with him being the 6th man for now but as we always said when coaching, it's not about the 5 who start it but the 5 who end it and that kid has to be out there to end games.

Seriously - I was pumped for Lee thinking he'd be a great veteran post presence and bridge a cap before Thompson was here but I was way off. He's been soft and mentally has just been out of it.

I was optimistic this offense would look good, and that give and go with Bates-Diop and Lee was a thing of beauty....but instead of moving off the ball and cutting we dribble around the perimeter and jack 3's. It's like Jent was the guy holding this offense to any form.

Well, when your players miss several layups it is hard for the offense to look good.

To me the offense can still 'look good' while missing layups. It's about good opportunities. Those bunnies and layups will fall if you continue to move off the ball and stop playing perimeter ball and settling for long J's. When we play as small as we do we are going to be able to create mismatches on the perimeter to then attack....but we don't, we settle for 18 and 20 footers over and over again.

Also this team is soft. Outrebounded by 15 in one half. And FTs are horrible.

Luckily IU is stupid with the ball and it's only a 6 point game

Also. IU fans are are antsy bunch.

Like i said before -- we have to play with more intensity. No dribbler can go faster than the pass. Have to move ball quicker if we want to start getting in a better scoring position.

Coach got them focused to come out this half.

Again - as someone who has not watched this team a ton this year, does Loving fall in love on the edge too much? He's got a heckuva shot it seems for a big man, but big guys always want to be guards and not sure if he has that issue?
