Game Thread tOSU @ Virginia Tech, Sep 7 2015 @ 8pm ET, ESPN

I actually think JT might be a better option second half, even though Cardale has played pretty well. He makes everyone around him better and makes the correct reads better than most QB's. If they aren't going to change up our approach got to go with JT.

Agree with @jlb1705 - coaches are afraid of the bear front but it's just in their heads.

Not taking shots downfield against man. Not running into it to soften them.

I doubt there's much confidence in our receiving corp given the missing pieces, but I agree you have to at least take some shots.

I hate that there's been solid halftime analysis, especially on why Cardale has kept the option so much. They're running plays like JT is the QB, which just doesn't work as well when it isn't JT. Play the game you did at the end of last year, not the game JT runs.
I feel like they got gun-shy about the deep balls because of a few drops (and depth at WR), but that's really the way to start cracking open their defensive approach.
The above are words I made up because I feel like I should have absorbed some intuition from constantly reading all of the game breakdowns, except I didn't.

We pressured a at backfield the first 2 drives since then the defense has been playing on their heels. Need a turnover or force another 3 and out with good field position, after a touchdown by Zeke of course to start the second half. Zeke should finish this game with about 20 carries the guy is a beast when he gets the ball. Let him do his thing and play Ohio State football. That was not Ohio State football in the 2nd quarter.

It looked like their defender targeted Eze/Brax every time on the option, chosing the more dangerous runner and letting next guys get to Cardale ... felt like he's making the right read just not the right kind of athlete to run that play consistently w/success
Eze needs it on designed handoffs w/Cardale in.
I can't lie..I'm a JT fan. I think he's the bigger threat at this point. Love Cardale tho...this offense just needs more EZE either way.
