I really don't see how this would help the cavs out too much. It would trade away arguably our second best player in Hughes to not really get that much other than three guys that can't play any defense.
I don't think of this as much as any of them as starters... as much as I think of it filling out a team of role players that help the entire game...

I was not enamored with the contribution of any of these names during the playoffs with the SLIGHT exception of Hughes... at times I found myself BEGGING for someone to be able to hit a shot... Hughes inclusive... and I was begging for someone other than LeBron to be able to get a rebound (most excrutiating 2 minutes I ever experienced against Detroit in game 6) .. I would hope Wally could get me a three.. and Webber would get me that rebound...

plus we get rid of a LOT of cap money that is tied up for YEARS... and are flexable again to get that PF .. along with my eye on Arenas after next year too.. I'd make this trade in a heartbeat

Christ, why would the Cavs want Webber's enourmous contract? He's not the same player he was four or five years ago. Living in Philly, I've watched just about every Sixers game. Give me Iverson, but you can keep Webber. Webber's horrible now.

This trade would be a DISASTER!!! I don't want Webber or Wally on this team. And there is no way Carney would be worth the loss of Hughes.

Please let this be a rumor.

Disaster is right. I love Carney and think he is going to be a good player, but we need to keep Hughes and we just picked up Brown. It would be stupid to have 2 guys at the 2 spot that are rookies, and Wally can't play D.

I had heard there was a rumor that Cleveland was trying to get involved in a 3 way trade that would send Iverson to Boston, but that was all I had heard. This was on Espin fro the predraft special.
