DickRod will be around for next year. After that, I would not put any money on that bird-brain to stick around.

DickRod essentially has 16 games to compete for a Big Ten title.

He needs to make a bowl game this year and then at least be in the hunt for a Big Ten title into November next year.

If not, and if there are more losses like this one next year, he'll be gone. His biggest ally retires in September next year. After that, all bets are off.

Next years gonna be a real challenge. Loosing a couple OL, their top two RB, Probably their best two players on D (Graham & Warren) and may be starting a frosh QB again. What many of them were expecting this year (8-4) might be where they get to next year.

If their D doesn't get better and Gardner starts, it could be as bad as this year. Their D keeps almost every team in the game no matter what. And a frosh QB, no matter how much better of a runner he is, is going to struggle more than Tate does throwing the ball now, although he won't embarrass himself by tripping and falling on a goal line hand off.

I agree that RR probably has 1 more year, but if he can't turn it around it gets ugly.

Just got home from work and found out they lost.

Michigan did not "lose" today.

They got beat by TWENTY FIVE points by a team that was winless in the Big Ten.

They got beat by a coach whose job is in jeopardy. By a team that in its prior 5 games had not scored more than 17 points nor given up less than 24.

This is only a half step above the Appy St loss - and it is two years down the road from that supposed nadir in the program with the winningest record in college football.

This is gonna rile the hornets sumpin' fierce.

This is good stuff.
