TSUN vs Syracuse (over/under 130.5) Sat 8:50 CBS

I hate scUm as much as the next guy but I wouldn't mind the big ten finally winning a title in a big time sport.

Are you an SEC fan? :roll1:

A "conference" doesn't win the title, a "team" does. When that team is Michigan, then no, I'm not happy about it. Should Michigan indeed win the national title, you won't see any of us running around chirping "B-1-G! B-1-G!"...

the terrorists have won

When Michigan beat NC state and other decent but not great opponents in OOC play, their fans not only thumped their chests but routinely declared that Spartans reign was over in state (which they already denigrated as merely capitalizing on the sanction stricken state of Michigan hoops).

This isn't football. The young fans haven't "been there before", many of the older fans have either been hiding for most of the last twenty years or using the fab five crutch to keep their noses too high to support Michigan hoops until they started winning big

As for rooting for a title, guys like Jasean Tate and Keith Bates Diop chose osu in part due to the disparity in success.

I like to see the league do well but there are some serious side effects to consider when rooting for a rival.

I actually like Trey Burke a lot and love watching McGary. This isn't Novak's bunch. I find fault a lot - primarily with Beilein - but they are an impressive team.

I have no problem rooting for Louisville if Syracuse can't do the job....but I don't really want it to get to that point. It's about time that the Michigan from the last 12 games of the regular season and the B1G tourney shows back up.

FIFY.

TSUN has been the beneficiary of two great matchups in the second round (VCU) and the Elite Eight (Florida)--two opponents whose styles of play perfectly fit into exploitation by TSUN's style of play. As for the Kansas game, well, I still don't know how Self blew that one.

Try something new, go for the Orange.

I had to create two brackets for work. You can guess the first heartbreaking one is already busted.

But for some reason I picked Syracuse randomly for my second bracket. I don't even remember what my logic was, only that I had to pick a second team to win it all and I pointed blindly.

At the time of course, I was certain my first bracket was the real winner and the second one was just to be polite.

I think Louisville will win the tournament, I am just so sick of the media being so anti big 10. Either way only team I have left in my bracket is Louisville who I predicted winning it all so.

It's funny you think one championship will change that.

Not a fan of Louisville Wichita or Syracuse, but rooting for big 10 in this one as hard as that seems

No you don't.

BTN would do the exact same thing with Ohio State, if the Buckeyes had progressed to the Final Four.

That said, I'm glad this week is almost over so BTN can stop showing TTUN basketball replays and TTUN-specific programming.

And I probably just ensured TTUN wins the national freaking title by saying that (trying to reverse-jinx).
