Most overrated team
Michigan: The Wolverines are talented, but I don't think the Big Ten East landscape will evolve in a way that benefits this particular team, which has an awful lot to replace to be ranked 11th to start the season -- especially given the schedule. With so much turnover defensively and Penn State and Ohio State bringing back potent offenses, Jim Harbaugh's crew might have to get out of its comfort zone more than it did a year ago -- when Ohio State's offensive line was bad and Penn State was evolving when the two played. I still think Michigan can have a decent season and go to a good bowl, but it's the third-best team in the division with the gap to the other two being significantly wider than some believe.

Why do I suspect that the ranking has everything to do with getting folks to turn their TVs on and watch?

I'm watching the first episode (of 10) of BTN's 10-Year Anniversary special.

I don't know why I'm so pleased that BTN keeps replaying clips of Appalachian State blocking the field goal and upsetting ScUM. It's been played multiple times (on the special) and they've even had a discussion roundtable about it.

Love it.
It seems unfair that Michigan is featured twice in that show. First for Appy St and then for their exciting last second punt against MSU.
