They're so fucking hung up on the online courses thing. It's like they're all living in the distant past and aren't aware of modern things like computers or quarterback development.

If you don’t have enough ambition to leave the house on a cold day to earn your degree, then what are you going to do at the office? Soft is all it is.

I don't think it's necessarily the idea of players like Fields taking online classes, but rather the fact that pretty much everyone knows he isn't the one sitting at the computer or doing the work. At least the act of physically going to a classroom levels the playing field somewhat, because then players like Fields aren't de facto pro athletes who spend literally all day, every day at the football building.

Stanford offers a nice array of online classes to their students. Athletes or not. MIT, Berkeley, Cal Poly...First rare academic institutions. Welcome to 2020 boomers.

I know academic superiority is our calling card but the silly, antiquated notion that a lecture hall 100-200 level course with 300 people is somehow more conducive to learning than an online course is laughable.

There are also a bunch wanting to drop to 1aa and join the ivy league (as if the ivies would have tsun).

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals.

This whole notion that scUM doesn’t do everything they can to make the academic lives of their “Student-Athletes” as manageable as possible is laughable at best.

STFU with the de facto pro athlete nonsense and that your players are held to a higher standard.

This is a school that pays a former Pro Head Coach at the top of the College Head Coach pay scale. Yeah ok we’re all about school....

So the kid who played in The game on a sprained knee, left at one point due to that injury, then came back and threw a perfect strike TD on the first play.....that kid is soft.

What's Denard "Tap out" Robinson, then?

He's a caricature of a boomer. All it was missing was the "back in my day we walked 8 miles uphill in 3 feet of snow to school".
