Gotta live in the moment. What is presently happening at tOSU is special. With Urban at the helm, top 5 recruiting classes, an undefeated team with the possibility of an undefeated season, a team that seems to have turned the corner, a Heisman contender at QB....all things that should bring a smile to our faces.

True. Some people said it was too much, but I loved how Meyer celebrated with the players after the game.

Yeppers! I saw Urban's grin from 5000 miles away (at 0230 am for me too). It was a "they got it" look. They figured some things out and played as units finally.

Somewhere between UAB & MSU the Bucks had their AHA! moment. Now lets see if that continues. Sadly I will be fast asleep for the Huskers being 7 hrs ahead of Eastern. Maybe.

I feel your pain. Last year, I had to wake up at 3:30 in the morning to catch games that started at 8PM eastern.

The journey continues after an impressive 25 pt victory over NEB.

The problem of stupid penalties and poor tackling continues to plague the
Defense but overall the team has made a marked improvement. The Defense gave up too many yards and too many points but they also redeemed themselves with three INT's, one going for a 41 yd TD by Roby. They also pressured the QB numerous times and got a handful of sacks on top of it. After Burkett went down they pretty much shut down the NEB Offense in the 2nd half.

NEB has a legit Offense but when you throw in our troubles with CAL a few weeks back it reveals that there are elements of this Defense that still need to vastly improve. But the Defense scored our first points and that was huge.

The Offense had a major breakthrough yesterday with a 49 pt explosion. After the 1st Quarter when we had a brain fart and couldn't do anything right, we couldn't be stopped scoring 6 TD's on six possessions. It was the best Offensive production for an Ohio State Offense that I have seen in a very, very long time. This Offense can be something very special if Braxton stays healthy.

The game against NEB showed that the team has indeed turned a corner and is THE elite team in the B1G Ten. 6-0 sounds really good right now with the likelihood of going 7-0 against INDY next week and the possibility, may I say, probability of going undefeated for the season. Who would have thunk it?

My guess is that UFM did, but then, he keeps his cards pretty close to the chest. :wink2:

WOW! A few weeks ago I started this thread because I saw a turning point in the performance of our team vs. MSU. This was followed by a Offensive blitz against NEB but a lackluster performance against INDY. Had I spoken to soon.

Well, for about 3 and 3/4 of a game today against PURDUE I would have had to say yes. Especially with Braxton going down and leaving the game. But my BUCKS showed me something again....THE HEART OF A CHAMPION.

They did not give up or give in. They fought. They battled. They believed in each other. And they made the plays that needed to be made on both sides of the ball. And they pulled off the MIRACLE. This game will go down in history as "HOLY BUCKEYE Pt.2" but it showed us something about this team that despite all the mistakes, missed tackles, stupid penalties, etc.THEY ARE WINNERS. 8-0 baby!!!

We experienced another turning point today. The team proved that they could come from behind and win a game without the best player on our team, Braxton Miller on the field.

Today, our boys made us proud.

On to Happy Valley...
