I was wondering what TV on DVD seasons everyone was buying. At first, I thought the whole idea was stupid (especially with re-runs)...but now I'm hooked. I just bought "Sliders" seasons 1 & 2 and forgot how much I used to love that show in the 90's.

I currently have...

Smallville (Seasons 1, 2 and 3)
Seinfeld (Seasons 1 & 2, and 3)
Sliders (Seasons 1 & 2)



Any other recommendations? I saw "Quantum Leap", "Playmakers" and some other good ones just came out.

right with you DE... Family Guy, Oz, Sopranos, Seinfeld. I debating to get King of Queens. I'm not sure I want to shell out the cash when I could just burn the off TV.... it depends on the extras. My wife has all the Sex in the City seasons.

about 20-30 or so. The problem is that I never "catalogued" them, so I probably have duplicates of some episodes. And some are syndicated and they usually cut 1-2 scenes on syndication to make room for more commercials. and as you can guess, the quality of some of these tapes has gone downhill....

I highly recommend the 5th season DVD. that was when the show was hitting it's stride. Many classic episodes.

I have Simpsons 1-4 (I need to get 5), Seinfeld 1 & 2, ER Season 1, Chappelle's Show Season 1, Arrested Development Season 1, Da Ali G Show Season 1 and Sopranos 1-3.

I'm a sucker for it, because as much as I love movies, sometimes I don't have time for a whole one, so I watch an episode while I do my HW.

All 7 seasons of Deep Space Nine.
First 7 seasons of MASH.
First 8 seasons of Friends.
First 2 seasons of Outer Limits
First 3 seasons of the West Wing.
