Don't know if you've been able to get all the way from Quahog to the Schott, Thump, but that is one of the places where the wheelchair spectators are accommodated in the seating plan:biggrin:

Sure looks like him.

Do you see him sitting in a wheelchair with his arms resting on the arms of the wheelchair?

No, but then I can't see any of the folding chairs in that row and Tyson has some arm movement and drives his own chair around now. Also, he has been attending basketball games.

Like I said earlier, it's not Tyson, it's a basketball manager and I can guarantee that since I know the kid. Even if he was there he wouldn't be sitting right with the managers, he'd be sitting further down. Doesn't look like him anyway.

Heater (AKA Heath Schneider) on the new Bucknuts board is trying to help the Gentry family defray costs of a specialized $15,000 price-tag restorative therapy bike that the Gentry family wishes to use to accelerate Tyson's recovery efforts. A trust fund has been set up to accept donations (by NCAA rule donations must go into that account).

Anyway - thought folks here would like to know and, I am confident, help Heath assist the Gentry's reach their goals.

Thanks for the assist there.

Some folks know me here and some do not. I'm an active duty Air Force captain and I've been in the military for 15 years. When I got back from Afghanistan in 2005, the folks at Bucknuts passed the hat and came up with enough money to send me and my wife to the Fiesta Bowl against Notre Dame.

Now's a chance for me to payback and you to pay forward.

You can send any donation to my house in North Carolina (PM or e-mail me for the address). My plan is to collect them all and make a single deposit into Tyson's trust fund. When I make the deposit, I will also send the Gentry Family a letter with a list of everyone that donated to the cause (unless individuals request it to be anonymous).

If you're worried about sending the money to me and would rather make a deposit into his trust fund yourself, I can get that info to you. But, please let me know how much it was so I can keep a running total for this project.

Checks are payable to: Tyson Gentry Trust Fund

Do NOT make checks out to Tyson directly. It's an NCAA rules violation.

If you have ANY questions, you can send a PM and I'll answer it straight away. You can also e-mail me at [email protected]

Thanks,

Heater

Unfortunately, I don't. A couple of people have asked. I have a PayPal account that I could receive money into, but I'd rather receive the check payable to: Tyson Gentry Trust Fund.

That eliminates any concerns at all about making sure that the money hits the right place in the end.
