Arriola’s touch and pace, plus Pulisic’s well, everything, stood out.

Goal aside, and I’m admitted McKennie fan, he has not been great, imo. I don’t get to see everything he does at Schalke in Germany to be rated so high, but I expected more in the Yank jersey. I know he’s obviously very young and good, but he has some really dumb moments with the ball on his feet.

US should gain some more control and find a couple more this next half.

Let’s not get too carried away, a complacent Mexico team was in a dogfight with Martinique and then took Costa Rica choking to allow them to advance. Mexico isn’t exactly in the best form either. They have an absolute battle with Haiti coming up, too.

As much as I hate DC United, Paul Arriola could be an absolute star if he could put it all together. He has the pace. Very good IQ, too.
