Well that was…fun? Like Ohio State playing at Prairie View A&M during a tropical storm…but hey, it was a nice goal at the end to avoid a loss.

Hey, good for Jordan Morris though, I've always been a fan and I felt like he was really on a nice little run before that ACL. I don't know how he fits in the plans this year but, I always felt like this was a good role for him as a super sub in some situations. He's a bigger strong dude for a winger and he just kind of sees the game a little differently I think.

I really wish these mega companies like Nike would stop using bland templates for multiple countries. Adidas at least showed some individuality with their WC kits for all of the countries they represent. But this guy took the opportunity to do the right thing, and design the perfect set of jerseys for the WC.

I saw those. And saw that he’s partnering with Olive & York, a customer jersey apparel company, to put them into production. So…that’s where my money is going to go.
They are so good and (shock!) actually incorporate our flag/nation’s colors/history.
I’m a noted Nike whore for most of my shoes/shirts/team gear, but they drop the ball on jerseys way too much. No effort.

Got caught up at work to start the day so I just tuned in. Sounds like everything is terrible so that’s nice.
Jerseys look slightly better with numbers compared to completely plain but still so bland. Couldn’t even throw a circle on there like the 2004-06 era?
I’ll digress. Just disappointing to wait 8 years for a World Cup return, with this generation of fun players and I don’t even want to wear the kit.

I mean just shredded and I don't see the point of trying to play high if all they're going to do is touch passes to the FB's. If they can't defend in the box - and today they couldn't - its going to be tough no matter what else happens

Not even a single shot on fucking goal. I have missed a lot of soccer over the years but this seems like the absolute bottom of the rocks and whatever else lies beneath. How do you have so much young talent and not even a single shot?
