I seem to have forgotten Ricardo Clark somewhere along the line.

He didn't play tonight, so I have no clue what that means. Bob's seen enough, but whether that is good or bad, I don't know. I think he's in.

Terrible defense tonight. Guzan has no control over his D. Yeesh, just ugly.

I think he's good, they'll give him some more time these last two friendlies. I don't see anyone worth replacing him really, so just take him and hope he's game-ready.

Freakin' National team - just play defense! JESUS CHRIST.

I'm so sick of seeing articles on Landon Donovan or Charlie Davies or Clint Dempsey. We need to develop quality defenders who have tenacity and are savvy in the air.

Looks like I'm going to spend another damn world cup getting blacked out at Fado and watching the US piss away another chance to present the soccer fans around the world a big fat FUCK YOU!

Grant Wahl At The World Cup ? Posts Findley Makes World Cup Team, Ching Cut ?

2010 FIFA World Cup Roster - U.S. Soccer

IN: Findley, Oneywu, Buddle, Gomez
OUT: Ching, Bedoya

Grant Wahl says he was surprised to see Ching excluded, but I think it's the right move. Ching is a black hole with the ball at his feet. I don't think very highly of Findley either, but at least he'll be at the end of the bench. I think if Ching had been included Bradley might have actually tried to use him.

I think Findley's inclusion only serves to further magnify how big a shame it is that Davies didn't get a chance to be included on the roster. I think his very presence (even if only on the sideline) adds more to this team than Findley does whether he plays or not.

I think Gomez is going to have an impact as a sub somewhere in the group stage.

I'm taking Ching over Findley 100 times out of 100, at the international level.

Ching doesn't score, and he's not flashy, but his work rate is very good. He holds the ball well, and late in the game he can kill some time, draw fouls, etc.

I'm definitely not a Ching fan, but I'm SHOCKED he's not going. His hamstring just must not be good enough. And like you, I wanted Charlie on this squad...full health or not, he's bringing more than Findley.

I'm not sure how correct this information is, but I was told that Davies could still be called up at a later point in time because he was a part of the qualifying or something like that. I know that doesn't really seem to make sense (what would the point of having a 23 man roster) but I still found it interesting.

If there is an injury, the USA can call up anyone (up until day before England game) and that person doesn't have to come from any select group. It could be you or me. :p

So yes, there is a chance he could still go. But it's slim and none.

Nice crowd in Philly for the friendly against the Turks. No score in the 16th minute but we dodged a couple of bullets thanks to Turkish misfires.
