U.S. Men's National Soccer (Official Thread)

I didn't even bother to check in on the Jamaica-Mexico match..just assumed El Tri would get through.

Was surprised to see the result...now not sure if Jamaica is better than I give them credit for or if we are in a really good position to close out the cup. Probably a bit of both...

Jamaica is better than what they are given credit for. Giles Barnes is one of the better midfielder/wingers to come out of this region in a while. Andre Blake has been fantastic in goal for Jamaica since Donovan Ricketts hung it up. Darren Mattocks is one of the fastest soccer players in the world, not just this region. They have a lot of young guys that have stepped up and performed well. Really impressed with how far Jamaica has come in the last decade.
