Taz,

Can we expect you to continue to drop by BuckeyePlanet after your recruitment is over...no matter who you commit to? I really enjoy this inside perspective.
I second the motion. We welcome everyone here, and we DO enjoy hearing from people who bring us new perspectives.

Hey taz, After going to camps and competing against and seeing other top football players from around the country; do you think the "florida speed" myth still holds water? Has anyone player really caught your attention with their ability?
Well The myth is true but after going to all the camps my fellow eammaes and I have been the most impressive according to he coaches.I really have had any problems with other player as a threat when it comes to ability.

I am still not buying into the whole Florida speed thing. Anywhere you look around the country there are going to be kids that are slow and kids that are fast and everywhere in between. Then there are the special fast players or the players that are freakishly fast for their size. Florida simply has more freakishly fast players because they have a state with a freakishly large population. It is simply a matter of playing the percentages. More kids, more chances to find the truely amazing athletes. This discussion never seems to take place when comparing Florida to say California or Texas, their huge states. No offense meant to Taz but, he is not special because he lives in Florida, he is just special. Give me anyone in Florida and put him on the track with Teddy Ginn if you want to illustrate the point. If you want to illustrate it at 230lbs than put Alex Daniels or Maurice Clarett on the track. 270, try Mike Kudla who I just read ran a 4.49 this summer. All Ohio boys, all freakishly fast for their size.

Bussiness Opportunity

Taz,

What did you say to Bill Krulic that would make him think you are not going to be a Buckeye?

Thanks to CritialSteve, I have a great idea. We need someone to make some TazMania Shirts. Put me down for a dozen. Need a few XXL sizes, Two for Taz, one for Bollman, and XL for HH. We need these before Taz comes up for the Cinn. game.

Kurelic thinks Wilson is less than 50% of becoming a Buckeye per his conversations with Wilson.

It's premium on BSB

Well you have to like our chances regardless.

I mean he already said that he is coming to "both" the UC game and a game later in the year. Ronnies not going to take 2 visits during his school year and football season just for the heck of it.

He posts here and puts up with our questions. :tongue2:

Our program and the outstanding people involved will sell itself.

Besides if worst comes to worst and Ronnie chooses to go elsewhere......We got an inside look at Ronnies experiences throughout his recruiting process- way cool.

go-bucks!!!

Well, you know. He's coming up for that wonderful beach weather we have.

Or rather, for a sampling of Fall in Columbus, and there IS NO BETTER ATMOSPHERE THAN THAT. PERIOD.

I'm up here at Diet Scum, with a campus that I have to admit is prettier than OSU's, not to mention better weather, and I still want nothing more than to be back in Columbus in October. Don't let the glitter and glitz of recruiting visits distract you, Taz... If you just walk around campus on a crisp October afternoon, you'll fall in love with it, like we all did. Some of my best memories were those walks across campus from Chem 201 to English 520 my frosh year. Sometimes we'd just skip class (I know, not an option for you) and sit by mirror lake for a while and just soak it all in.

I seem to have gone all sappy. Grunt! Grunt! Burp! <GRUNT burp grunt,>OK, now that I've regained some measure of testosterone...

Kick some ass this year Taz, and at the end of each game consider how nice it'd be to get to do it in front of 105,000 screaming Buckeye fans each and every week.

Hey Taz!

Hey Taz, just wanted to get a Gator opinion in here. This will be the biggest choice of your life but no matter what school you pick just make sure to work hard both in the classroom and on the football field. Any school you pick will give you the chance to make the NFL and provide you with an excellent education so just make sure you take advantage of that.

With that being said I hope you become a Gator! Nothing against OSU..but have you ever been to Ohio in the Fall/Winter? Talk about cold!

My question for you is what position do you see yourself playing on the offensive line? Center/Guard/Tackle? Also, are the Florida Gators one of the schools that you are really considering and if so, what do you think about them?

Good luck this year Taz!
