Get well soon, Taz. You'll be crunching linebackers before you know it. One Floridian to another.

Hey Taz, glad you liked the Swamp brother. It is louder than any other stadium in the country and I am sure you will know first hand after comparing it to other visits. UF would love to have you. You are one mean SOB on the football field and that kind of attitude is always welcome in the SEC. I hope you take playing in front of your family and friends into consideration when you consider where you want to play ball at. I read that you have some family in Gainesville and that is a good thing. Every school you are looking at is great for football so you can't go wrong in that aspect. However you have to ask yourself what place will be better if something happens and I can't play football. It is much harder to be with your family if you have to take an expensive plane ride every time you want to see them. And have you ever been in Ohio during winter? Talk about COLLLLLD. I sure wouldn't want to walk all over campus when snow reaches my knees!

Well enough of my BS. Good luck on your sr season and remember to hit both the weights and the books hard. Have Fun!

I have lived in both Port St. Lucie and Columbus...having four seasons is what makes Ohio great. But I don't remember ever walking around C'bus in snow that "reaches my knees"...

Taz, good luck to you, CJ, and the rest of your teammates as you head towards the playoffs!

Easy to bounce back from. They hurt a bit when you have then though.

Hey G8erbait, I lived in Daytona Beach pretty much my whole childhood. Personally, I love Columbus. The changing of the seasons is great, the economy is considerably better up here and we certainly don't lack from things to do.

One of differences I've seen from when my brother attended UF I went to games with him is that Florida fans love there football. There is no denying that. But in Columbus, its a lifestyle. Game day festivities stretch for miles. The children in school are decked out in scarlet and gray. The people here don't just like or love the Bucks. They live the Bucks. And as a fellow Gator fan my whole life, the atmosphere here won me over years ago. There is nothing like it on the face of the earth. And I've been a lot of places.

Inside the stadium, during the Big Ten schedule, it gets so loud you can't hear yourself yell. You just let it loose and and hope somethings coming out, because you can't tell. The WSU game in 2002, I was a mile away from the stadium on my way there on foot and I could hear the stadium chanting "Lets Go Bucks" like they were in my ear. 105,000 people can make a lot of noise. I've never heard the Swamp as loud as I heard the Shoe during 2002 Penn State.

That's my info. Take it for what its worth.

I have been to a few OSU games and the atmosphere is nice but not quite as good as Gainesville. Of course we are all biased. Herbie himself said that there is no atmosphere quite like the Swamp. He has mentioned on Gameday that the fans in Gainesville are the loudest he has ever seen. Plus don't forget about NCAA 05. They are unbiased and rated the Swamp as the #1 stadium. Plus I believe Ronnie's remarks are quite telling but he will compare that to OSU-Michigan.
