Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

I'm guessing he has some business incentive to show up at his own bar, so it's hard to argue that he just shouldn't be there. It didn't look to me that he was an active participant in the dancing. I just don't think its a big deal. Maybe his wife will be mad, but this is a fake controversy.
Lol, you're oblivious to the real world and UM obviously

Anyway, my personal opinion is I’m thankful for Urban’s time at OSU, winning a title, beating that team up north and taking the Bucks to an even higher level…but I’m glad I don’t have to defend him anymore.
This applies again. Happy that I don’t have a stake in what this man does because he routinely makes poor decisions. He can coach/motivate/recruit. He’s questionable, at best, in all other aspects of life (especially in pursuit of winning).

Can’t believe he took the Jags job.

Thanks for the title and elevated program (on-field) standards.

So, so glad this dude isn’t at OSU anymore.
He left at the right time IMO... you look at the upper class kids on our current team and their recruiting classes have been not on par with the 2020 or 2021 classes. I think staff attrition started to hurt UFM also.

I think we probably do similar the past few seasons with UFM but we sort of transitioned into a coach that is far more innovative and football savvy IMO. Surprisingly I think Day is far more cut throat as well which you need a certain level of. For example UFM probably doesn't remove Kerry mid season as coordinator.

As a coach I think he became what people thought Saban would be with the new fangled offense. He relied on the QB run and as that era of offense left he didn't want to let it go. Plus he hired too many close friends and didn't show the ability to be cut throat with them.

Yep 100%... him hiring buddies really compromised his ability to do what was necessary. As for our offense under UFM, it could still be effective today but against the national powers it wasn't even close to good enough.

50 year old dude gets some flirtation from a few 20-something girls and liked the attention.

My god, this is ground breaking.
It’s not like he was out at a strip club with Tom Herman and Zach Smith. His family business is his family’s business and it’s none of my business. But I know that, if I was in the same situation, I’d probably enjoy it. If he didn’t grab a little ass then one might argue that he passed up a good opportunity.

The whole thing is stupid and probably overblown. It might be worth noting that there was a fire in that building recently and the restaurant was shut down for several days. I don’t live far from there but have never been there. I really should go check it out.
