Hard to believe the starting kicker on the nation's most glamorous college football team--and the one likely to be ranked #1 pre-season--would off himself. I also haven't heard too many suicides by jumping off a cliff...young males usually kill themselves more directly, such as by gun.

Perspective to keep in mind as we near Monday night's game...

This week, I felt on the top of the world following the Rose Bowl. Once again the game is meaningless. After all, it is a game for entertainment. I feel embarrassed with my elation following the game.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the Danelo family.
