A salute to my fellow veterans on this site.

I urge all BPers to remember that today's force is from less than 1% of American families. They are serving us faithfully. I can only hope that this nation will remember and appreciate that service. My fear is that at less than 1%, they will have little political clout in 10 to 15 years from now when their needs will be the greatest.

Remember all veterans today and remember the promises we have made to today's veterans and insist that the nation keeps those promises.

I thank every brave veteran, from World War II up to the current servicemen. You are the true heroes of our society and we owe you the greatest amount of gratitude and respect. Go USA and Go Buckeyes!
