Lets go Bucks and Steelers
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings showed off a new uniform design Thursday -- one that updates the team's look while honoring its history.
The new look was announced at the Mall of America.
The jerseys are made of a new twill material making them 30 percent lighter, according to Reebok, their manufacturer. There are stripes around the shoulder, down the seams and down the leg.
Players will wear black shoes for the first time since 1983. Purple pants, last seen in 1964, also made a comeback.
The horn logo remains on the helmet, but it has been changed slightly to make it look three-dimensional.
