Favorite week of the 2012.

scUM/OSU
Dallas/Washington

My cup of hate runneth over.

Me too. What are the odds of Cowboys and Redskins fans agreeing on something?

This RG3 kid... He's pretty good.

I was in Clarendon (Arlington for those who have never lived in the DC area) watching the draft when they made the pick official. I saw 2 people cry and I lost count of how many I saw dancing on the sidewalks and streets.

A pair of friends next to us had already custom done NFL Skins jersey's. #1 with 'RG3' on the back.

I had my Browns gear on. While I am no Redskins fan. I certainly even felt
the excitement these people had. Good for that city and team. Hopefully we long suffering Cleveland fans will have some of that fortune in the near future.

... who the fuck am I kidding? We're Cleveland :(

I never dreamed that he would've been worth all of those draft picks, let alone a steal at that price :banger:

The curse of Heath Shuler (and Dan Snyder) has finally been lifted.

Cousins looked pretty good last night. Pat White looked like he should be #3 behind Cousins. Time to let Sexy Rexy go.

"Put RGIII at slot receiver and let Cousins start a QB Coach! Return to Glory!"

Shanahan says Super Bowl or bust. Anything beyond that is a failure.

I'm not ready to go that far, but with Orakpo back and Kerrigan on the other side, our defense should be scary.

And with 3rd and 4th string QBs playing as well as they did, I feel comfortable with the passing game. Morris is just elusive as hell.

Playoffs definitely. Super Bowl, I'll wait until I see them start to play really.

Yeah, the WRs have a lot of room for improvement. I'm optimistic, especially with the defense having a couple of great players returning from injury, and the new draftees in the secondary. The offense looks spectacular.

Agreed that Grossman should be released. A QB like Pat White is vital to have for the offense, in case of emergency.

The debate over the use of the name "Redskins" to refer to the professional football concern in Washington took a new turn this week when Robert Klemko, a writer for "Monday Morning Quarterback," a Sports Illustrated website, announced that the site will no longer use the "Redskins" name.
"I know that our site, we’ve talked about it, and we’re not going to use Redskins in our writing," Klemko told CBS Sports Radio. "We’re going to say ‘Washington football team.' And it’s not something we’re going to publicize or write about. We’re just not going to do it."

What will be interesting to see is whether Sports Illustrated as a whole will follow MMQB's lead. MMQB, for those not familiar, is a boutique site set up around Peter King, the longtime SI fixture with extensive NFL credibility. Of note: King told The Big Lead that "no final decision has been made." (The "Washington Redskins" tag remains live on the site.)

Looks like that fat-headed idiot who thinks we care about what coffee he drinks or what stupid non-accomplishment accomplishment his daughter's "achieved" is on a crusade again. There's a reason I refuse to even look at that site, much less read what he says.

So failure it is. This O-line and secondary may be the worst in Washington history. RGIII has no shot to QB. He's too busy running for his life the second the ball is on his hands.

Shanahan refuses to add back the zone blocking. He's sticking to the read option only. Defense wasn't that bad against a team that had just thrown for a record 500 yards and 40+ points. The defense was really only responsible for 17 points with the other 14 being a direct result of special teams breakdowns though.
