Right, I mean he probably got tired of buying jewelry and precious metals with cash. Wonder what else is in that safe deposit box of his.

He looks like somebody who was a pretty big, strapping guy in his prime. Exactly the kind the agency would pull aside, and say "you want to do something exciting and make some extra cash on top of your Air Force pay? Well, there's this little 'airline' we've got."

Tudor has a new GMT that one can--unlike the Rolex GMT--actually buy at retail.

I know, but I still have yet to see it at retail. I also suspect it'll be too big for my tastes. I've tried on a used Rolex GMT at an AD, but it was priced at 13K, which is not what i'm going to spend for a used watch (I understand that's the market price, but that just means I won't buy one). The Rolex GMT, though, was just perfect size...
