Week 11 Games Discussion

Chickenshit Saturday down south as even Clemson is getting in on the act:

New Mexico State at Alabama
UConn at Clemson
Samford at Florida

Them making Bama and Auburn play a conference game before each other is a bit shocking. Its South Carolina and Arkansas. But a actual conference game none the less.

Penn State vs. TTUN. This is one of those meteor games. Actually, I usually root for a really ugly game where TTUN wins. But the winner isn't as important as the "ugly" part. See their 4OT game. I usually want a game where TTUN fans come away saying, "Yeah, we won, but..." and a game where the cult comes out crying, "We were robbed by the referees!!"

This year, I think I'm rooting for the opposite. Penn State already has 3 conference losses, and a win over TTUN gives TTUN 2 losses. So that helps Ohio State. Plus, with Harbaugh reporting that the Big Ten officials have since said that they were wrong on some calls in the Sparty game (I'm not convinced that they actually said that), I like to think that the refs are going to have a little bit of bias against Harbaugh. I want to see what happens when a really bad call by the referees gives Penn State the win. Actually, I know that they'd say that it doesn't make up for all the games that were stolen from them. Few would probably even acknowledge that the call was wrong. Hm... maybe I need to root for the number of turnovers to exceed the total score. That might be humorous.

Has a team ever had more turnovers than TDs and still won the game?

It's always pretty simple for me. Penn State is not our rival, tsun is. I want Penn State to beat them.

I like the twist of the knife scenario you have presented here.
