Week 11 Games Discussion

USCs playoff hopes take a gigantic blow if UCLA loses this game. They need UCLA to be around the top 10 when they play them.

Heres a scenario...

Georgia 12-0 SEC champ
THE OSU 12-0 B1G champ
TCU 12-0 Big 12 champ

Who's #4?

Clemson (loss to nd) wins out = acc champ with 1 loss

USC (loss to utah) wins out = pac 12 champ with 1 loss

Tenn (loss to georgia) and ttun (loss to OSU) both 1 loss but no conference championship

Oregon/Penn st/Bama with 2 L's

Seems like there's a two-loss team every year that gets talked about but is never in the CFP. LSU is the best chance to beat that trend if they knock off Georgia in the SECCG.

None of the others, including Bama, are getting in with two losses and no conference title to show for it. Even if Oregon won the PAC with two losses they aren't getting in.

In your scenario, I'd make USC #4 but the committee would probably go Clemson because they've been there several times. Reputation matters, even if it shouldn't.
