They are as inconsistent with replay as they are with live calls on the field which is to say they are completely incompetent no matter what tools you give them.

He's still a true freshman. Those are growing pains.
Martinez has a hard ceiling and a very low floor. He is what he is...McCaffery needs all the experience he can get in a lost season.

I can’t believe we used to put on our capes and defend Herman.
Guy had a great run as a QB coach but he’s proven to be awful more and more. Especially on his own. Ehlinger hasn’t improved, run game is bad and his playcalling is terrible.

Nebraska has a lot of Offensive team speed and it only seems to be maximized with McCaffery out there. Lot's of misdirection and split formations utilizing space. I can see why they gashed us some now. They have some talent, they just have to minimize mistakes which have killed them.

That's not how it works. That's not how coaches think. The Buckeyes might have had better prospects long term if Urban had benched JT Barrett in favor of either Joe Burrow or Dwayne Haskins but coaches go with who they think gives them the best chance to win the next game.
My eyes tell me the competition is ongoing.
