I look at this, and I still don't know.
It's the Shrodinger's Cat of TDs... the ball is out of bounds and across the goal line... and he's down.
But as with Shrodinger's Cat... once the call is made, you can't reverse it. That's the final state. Happy to be in the right timeline on this one.
