Once again, this will be a simple contest to participate in. Each week I will list all of the underdogs in the Div 1-A games that I see a point-spread for at the beginning of the week. Each person may pick 1 and only 1 team each week; just post your pick in this thread. Pick just one underdog team from the right column to win outright - you get nothing by picking a favorite that covers the spread.
You must pick your team before Saturday noon Eastern time, or before the kickoff of your game, whichever is earlier. So if you want to pick a Thursday night game, do it in time; but if you forget and don't pick until Friday, just pick one of the Saturday games. It isn't mandatory to make a pick every week, but if you don't you obviously can't earn any points that week.
If your team wins, you are awarded the amount of points that they were assigned in the spread; if they lose you get 0 points. So it's riskier to pick Little-Sisters-of-the-poor +47 when they play Texas Tech, but you get a ton of points if they win, as opposed to getting only a couple of points when you pick a close game.
Once I post the point spreads inside this thread, they are locked for purposes of this contest. Only the spreads listed in this thread will be used to award points.
The entire season-long contest will exist in this one thread. Each week I will post the points for that week and the season-to-date totals. Whoever has the most points after the Conference Championship games in early December will be declared the winner, and will receive v$250,000.

Congrats to NFBuck, winner of the 2009 Upset contest! As the winner of this contest, he wins v$250,000, his name forever mentioned in all future Upset contests, and a chance to meet Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard before they throw up in their flightsuits. Luckily that last portion of the prize was previously arranged by the Air Force and College Gameday.
NFBuck's 85 points breaks MolGenBuckeye's record of 83.5. It should also be noted that NFBuck finished with 81 points that year, so he now holds 2 of the 3 highest point totals over the 5 years of this contest.
He overcame an early season deficit to EdgarStyles, bravely (or cluelessly) skipped sending his final pick via PM as I had indicated was his option, and then hung on over EdgarStyles (who'd picked Nebraska) thanks to an official review correctly giving the clutch Texas FG kicker 1 second back on the clock.
