West Region vBet and Discussion

The alternative would have been to recognize the timeout call (which they didn't have) and assess a technical. I don't think the refs are who they should be directing their anger toward - they actually did Texas a favor.

I'm pretty sure they still had a time out left. At least, I recall the announcers saying they did.

Stupid what are you talking about... all NCAA student athletes have higher SAT scores than all of the college freshman ever :wink2:

I've followed Rick Barnes since he was at Clemson... This is his MO... great teams under achieving. He can't get it done as a coach, its all mental with him. Can't wait to hear the Tejas fans tomorrow.

This. And it couldn't happen to a bigger prick. Good for him. No matter how talented, perceived great, his teams might be, I will never pick them to the F4.

im still surprised he didn't grant that timeout, i thought it was clear he called for a timeout then the ref signaled for the 5 sec violation

Well, when there's 63 games in a tournament, mistakes will be made. I'm honestly surprised that with as many close games as there have been, more blatant misses weren't made.

I thought that is what he meant.

There have only been 2 days played and mistakes have been made by the refs. I thought that was the point he was trying to make.
Sorry if I confused some of you with my wording. I should have said "have been played." My mistake.

48 games have been played over the last 4 days.
