Please tell me a reporter asked him if his stance on free throws has changed yet, regarding their importance and preparation in practice.
It didn't look like they practiced a lick of shooting all week that entire game. That is one of the worst shooting performances I've ever seen from an "elite" team. The fact that they continued to chuck it up from behind the arc when it was clear they couldn't make shit was mind boggling.

Indeed. That part of the proud tradition of UK basketball (or SEC schools in general) never seems to get played up that much by the media anymore. Kind of like Grad alluded to on some of the blatant calls that went UK's way...it makes you honestly wonder.

You weren't fond of Glory Road?

They did show Pat Riley in the crowd recently, and Len Elmore (I believe) said that Riley was on the 1966 UK team that lost the historic game to Texas Western (now UTEP) that featured 5 black starters.

History considers that game important, while hardly mentioning the 1963 National Title by a Loyola of Chicago team with 4 black starters. I guess the 5th starter, combined with Adolph Rupp's blatant racism, is the difference. Of course, Loyola's opponent in the '63 title game was Cincy, who had 3 black starters but lost their bid for a threepeat in OT.

above, why did the people that placed Vbets on KY win, weren't they the favorite? Maybe I'm stupid about betting as didn't make sense to me...

Looks like I screwed that up, that's why.
