What are you currently watching on TV?

Watching "The People vs. OJ Simpson" so far really good but I don't understand why they had to put the Kardashians girls in it. In one scene Robert Kardashian says to his girls "In this family honor is more important than being famous" something along those lines. It seemed like intentional trolling.
I started laughing when I watched that scene; there is no other explanation to it.

My wife and I just about died when they took a dig at the Olsen twins in the first episode, and then the other dig in like episode 6. And holy crap, is Stephanie hot! I love that they're not taking this show seriously at all, though I think I wouldn't mind a few more seasons if the final 3 episodes are as good as the first 10 and they convince the cast to do it.

The Olson dig was awesome.

I watched the first two episodes of "The Magicians" on Syfy, based on the books by Lev Grossman. I really enjoyed the first two books--have not gotten to the recent finale to the trilogy yet--but at least to start the TV version is doing a good job with the material, and I am cautiously optimistic about the rest of the show. One criticism of both is that the main protagonist, Quentin Coldwater, is a bit of a mope, but I actually find the character less annoying on TV than in the first book.

Watched the ESPN short 30 for 30 doc "Prince of Pennsylvania" on DuPont and Foxcatcher Farms. Now I want to see "Foxcatcher" to see how the story is told by Hollywood.
Won't ruin it for you, but Steve Carell as John du Pont is quite creepy. I happened to do the reverse order in watching both.

Wife and I are currently onto Jessica Jones on Netflix. Gotta say, for a dank dive bar in Hell's Kitchen, Luke Cage has a pretty nice selection of liquor behind the bar.

I suppose it is an alternate reality, but Hell's Kitchen (or Clinton), is actually pretty damn nice. Kinda like Grandview maybe.

One thing that did bug me in the show was Jessica buying liquor at a bodega: that absolutely cannot and does not happen in NYC on display like that, although almost anything else goes. . .

Maybe I'm the only one (although it did just get renewed for a 2nd season), but now that I'm caught up, I have really enjoyed this show. It's really doing the book justice--which isn't surprising since Lev Grossman seemed to write the stories with TV/film adaptation in mind. The cinematography, effects and music are all quite well done.

Pretty easy on the eyes too:
