Re-reading Stephen King's Dark Tower Series, but this is his "updated rewrite". Halfway through The Gunslinger now. Either it has been just too long since I first read it, or Mr. King added some stuff in this rewrite because it seems like I am reading it for the first time. Still good, though.

I just finished this a week or two ago. Good read. I also read A Cook's Tour, which was basically like reading episodes of No Reservations.

Not sure if I'll try to pick up any of his other books. I liked Cook's Tour well enough, but if it's just going to be more of the same (written episodes of No Reservations) I may pass.

The chapter in Kitchen Confidential detailing what you need but don't have in your kitchen was informative, but I was pleased to note that I have over half of that stuff already. For a home-kitchen cook, I'm doing all right.

I have the vague feeling that I've read this before, but I can't be certain. I don't know when it would have been. Must have been LONG ago, or I read something similar. Good read so far.

I've started this now. My plan is to have it finished by Friday.
