muscle turns into fat - Tibor75

WTF.. And you are a Doctor????

Tell me how muscle turns into fat.. If that is possible I can turn fat into muscle then sweet.. What happends is players eat at their prior maintaince level and they do not adjust for the muscle mass depleting. That will get them fat but muscle can never ever ever ever turn into fat.

What it doesn't take into account is people who are body builders who are all muscle so I consider the BMI to be meaningless.
I'm 6'3" 218...and definitely not overweight. I don't think it works well for taller people.

Good eating and gym time have made this an easy one, along with a 23 year old metabolism :)

Good point. Another question, does it seem strange to anyone else that a BMI calculator would not factor gender into the equation? No way do a man and woman of the same height have the same ideal weight range.

Height: 6 feet, 3 inches
Weight: 190 pounds

Your BMI is 23.7

23.2 for both sites. I found it interesting that they included what women think is their ideal weight for my height and weight. I found it very encouraging to see that women with my height and weight have an ideal weight almost 15 lbs less than what I weigh. :smash:
