What is your favorite TV show of all time

Get a Life
The Dana Carvey Show
The Brady Bunch
Bevis and Butthead......which leads me to a question....

Why did no one mention Bevis & Butthead? Just because you saw every episode over twenty times does not mean that it wasn't the funniest **** you ever saw on TV back in the day. I'm serious. South Park is not even half the show that B&B was, but B&B suffered from SERIOUS overkill. There's no denying the burn-out factor....but call a spade a spade. That new episode you watched for the first time was freakin' hilarious. Then you saw it twenty times and got sick of it. I'll agree that B&B is no one's "favorite show" anymore, but in its original, first-run setting, it was the best. I dare say by quite a distance.

I can't remember them. I could look up the episodes on the net and tell you which ones from that, but I'm lazy. The Army recruiter was hilarious. The air guitar concert dream with the Skynard fans was classic. The first one with the hippy teacher was nice. The one where they kidnapped that loser kid and couldn't get any money for him sticks out. I actually enjoyed some of the music clips, too. Eclectic taste in the selection process. Commentary was dead-on about 99% of the time, too. I liked the one where Bevis talked over a death metal song with an anecdote about some guy who ordered some fast food with the same voice. Probably not the funniest, but those stuck out.

MTV was illegal in my hometown until about 10 years ago so B&B was off before I ever got a chance to watch it. I shit you not.
Yeah, I remember those days. Thankfully you moved in to town and started all that crazy dancing shit. Remember that day you played chicken with that other dude on tractors, and he ended up crashing into the ditch. And then you went and danced with that hot chick in the VW Bug at the abandoned factory. If I remember right her dad was John Lithgow and he was a preacher and boy was he pissed about you and that dancing with his girl. Thankfully you danced so good that the whole town opened their minds, and the next thing you know, we had the MTV.

Thanks Hawg.

Thank's for the advice. I'll get it tattooed on my forearm. That way, the next time I am welding I will remember not to put on my Flashdance cassette, rip up my loose-fitting sweatshirt, and dance around like a fairy princess. :)

Just remember one thing if you do decide to do that. Make sure someone has the big huge bucket of water over head that can dump down over you at the proper time. Preferably when you are in a very provocative welding/dancing pose. Also make sure you do not set your leg warmers on fire.

The B&B episode that sticks out for me was the one that aired immediately after the schoolkid caught himself on fire from what was blamed as a B&B copycat stunt. After MTV suffered enough pressure, Mike Judge and crew were ordered to remove any references to fire and pyromania from the show, including from Beavis's dialog.

The next episode opened with Photograph from Def Leppard's Pyromania album, and was followed by the Bobby McFerrin video for Don't Worry, Be Happy, which Robin Williams appears in. Throughout the video, Beavis is screaming, "Look! It's Mrs. DoubtFIRE!!!! Mrs. DoubtFIRE!!!!"

Oh and of course, my other favorite lines are ...

"I am the great cornholio! I need tee pee for my bunghole."

"The angle of the dangle is inversely proportionate to the heat of the meat."
