What to watch and who to root for this weekend 12/3/2011

Not sure if this has been posted here yet but with no Ohio State games to watch today(other than basketball if you have it). 11 Warriors has a nice guide up for who to root for this weekend to ensure scUM doesn't get a BCS bid.

Edit forgot the link http://www.elevenwarriors.com/2011/12/a-haters-guide-to-this-weekend

I don't think they covered this (I read it early this morning).

If UGA wins, and LSU/Alabama both end up in the top-2, and Stanford ends up in the top-4, and TCU ends up in the top-16 and ahead of WVU - TSUN will NOT get a BCS bid even if they qualify in the top-14 for an At-large bid. Because if those things all happen, the SEC gets 3 bids, and TCU and Stanford both get an automatic bid, and there are zero At-large bids available.

Give TSUN their at large bid. Let them play Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.

Give me Oklahoma State-Louisiana State in the NC game.

0% you have to be in the top 14 i thought. or win conf

I want them to get destroyed on national television they suck

i'm looking at the rankings... there's a good chance they might not move up... TCU, Clemson, Baylor, Wisky (if they win) are all behind them and won today.... the question is how far do Houston, Va Tech, Georgia, OU and MSU (if they lose) drop... in reality none of them should drop below tsun

So whats the chances that scUM doesn't get the bid if they crack the top 14?

Think about it. tOSU gets a share of the cash, TSUN gets ass raped on national TV. :wink2:

After this last year I don't want the dirty money. Too Risky

I said think about it. You're being emotional.

Clean money from TSUN's BCS share, and TSUN getting their assed kicked on a national stage. That's a win-win in an otherwise lost season.

they would bring in 6 million, and under 5 million more than a regular bowl.

Half a million is hardly worth the exposure for hoke, particularly when their momentum has halted.
