Way too numerous to mention each beer by name, but here are a few of my favorite breweries and their best beers (in no particular order):

- Three Floyds Brewing Co. (Alpha King and Dreadnaught)
- AleSmith Brewing Co. (IPA)
- Bell’s Brewery (Two Hearted Ale)
- Goose Island (Any Real Ale from their brewpub on Clybourn)
- Great Lakes Brewing Co. (Edmund Fitzgerald Porter and Dortmunder Gold)
- New Belgium Brewing Co. (For bringing the Belgian style to the US)
- Dogfish Head Craft Brewery (90 Minute IPA)

And some favorite styles:
- Irish Dry Stout
- Trappist Ales
- American Pale Ale and IPA
- Rye Pale Ales
- Czech Pilsner

Some excellent selections! If you ever make it to Cleveland, be sure to visit Great Lakes Brewing Company - they have a pretty good restaurant, and eight or nine beers on tap, including some which can be had only at the brewery. My favorites are the Commodore Perry IPA (about 85 IBU and 8% alcohol), and the Nosferatu (a red ale with about the same alcohol content and slightly less hoppiness). Prosit!

I'm not a big beer drinker but I liked the Honey Weiss and Oktoberfest.
