I'd stay south and west. Me no likey winter

I'd either go to Texas or whichever school had the better program at the moment between USC & UCLA. If I was a 17 year old kid right now I would probably go to UCLA.

If we're talking strictly for football, I'd probably pick Stanford or USC (seriously, my next trip out west is already 2 weeks overdue!). I know we're in the football forum, but...5* recruit for volleyball...yeah, I'd still pick a Cali school, probably UCSB or a San Diego school.

I would choose a respected institution such as Stanford or Northwestern (as an adult). As an 18 year old, I would choose a school that got me the most poon and exposure, so probably a SEC school.

Let's go with Vanderbilt to equal everything out.

If I couldn't go to Notre Dame or OSU, I'd pick Stanford, Texas, or Nebraska. Stanford for the education and weather, Texas for the fun, Nebraska for the atmosphere/fans. I would probably commit to USC or Michigan first though, and at the last second I'd drop them for one of the other three. :)

Ha - I was just thinking that I'd stay north. To use your words, "Me no likey hot". Summer in Ohio is too hot for me. Besides, football was meant to be played in the snow.

I used to consider Purdue my 2nd favorite Big Ten team. Fuck you, Danny Hope - Purdue is now near the bottom of my list. (On a side note, Purdue used to be neck-and-neck with Penn State as my 2nd favorite Big Ten team. Penn State had great fans (or so I thought, until 2005) and a classy head coach (or so I thought, until 2011). Both are now toward the bottom of my list. I doubt anyone could unseat Michigan or Wisconsin, though.)

I know what I said about not liking the hot, but if I'm a 5-star high school player, and have the choice of any team to play for, I'd pick a team that I thought would best get me to the NFL. If I can't play for Ohio State and try to win a national championship, my next goal is to get paid. I'd go to Alabama, or LSU, or somewhere in the SEC, or to USC or Oklahoma. A lot of it depends on what position I play, but really, I doubt you could go wrong with playing in Alabama. I'd imagine that their marching bands would get drafted to play special teams or something in the NFL, if there were just a couple more rounds of the draft.
