Which #1 seed loses first?

IMO, UNC is the most vulnerable with Lawsons injury but they are in the weakest bracket. They could be very likely looking at a run of Radford, Butler, Gonzaga, Oklahoma to reach the Final Four. That's not very daunting for them, Lawson or not.

L'ville is the best team from the best conference with a coach that has an excellent tourney resume.

Pitt and Uconn look the most vulnerable to me. Neither one finished strong and the West (Uconn) is freaking loaded.

Pitt is such a wild card here. If they can keep Blair out of serious foul trouble throughout the Dance, they will likely be the National Champions. OTOH, if Blair picks up 3 quick personals, they could lose to East Tennessee State.

Many top teams are completely dependent upon a star player, but few such players seem so likely to become disqualified on fouls as Blair.

Great po.....wait......what? Not even Fungo agrees with that.
Well, San Diego St. does play tonight... :tongue2:

My heart obviously says Louisville but my head says UConn... they have a tough region.

I think the biggest #1 upset would be North Carolina losing before the Elite 8... they have the easiest path to Indy.
