Unless you've been under a rock in the last month you know that there is a fairly important job opening in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Now who will fill said job is causing much consternation in the Wolverine State, which for some reason has no Wolverines.
Now who do you want to see coaching the maize & Blue next year

Tim Murphy, i had to google that name. he's done well at Harvard. I'd not heard that name though. Trying to go the Jim Tressel route with a lesser name? It doesn't seem like the rabble would be pleased with that. They're pissed that Ferentz is in the running.

Ferentz isn't exactly a lesser name. He's just not the right name.

After that, anyone but Greg Schiano. He just seems to be down to earth and a great leader/football coach so he would scare me a bit. Plus I might go crazy if I had to hear the "keep chopin" from the mich faithful.

They're pissed off at everything right now.

A good bunch want a flashy big-name coach; I don't think that's best for the program. Murphy is the total package, IMO -- but whether or not he has any interest in leaving Harvard is another matter entirely. I know he turned down Indiana's offer a couple of years ago. Wouldn't stop me from trying, though.

I would love for it to be Mike DeBord, Ron English, or even Kirk Ferentz. Even Les would be fine.
