I also would like to see USC. My earliest Buckeye memories are of the loss in the Rose Bowl to end the '79 season. With this victory of tSUN, Tress and Co. have exorcised the deamons of losses to tSUN of seasons past (i.e. the Cooper years). For me, seeing a Buckeye triumph over USC would be the perfect end to the perfect season.

Does it really matter? I think any one in the nation would admit that Ohio State runs the BCS this year and whoever they put on the field with us is just gonna get wiped up. If I had to pick a team it would be Florida though because 1) I'm from Florida and people have been telling me for weeks that OSU is over rated and I would Love to see OSU stomp on the gators 2) The last thing I want is an OSU, Michigan rematch because they are the only team in the country that I would be afraid to play and 3) Because USC wouldn't stand a chance against OSU... They lost to an unranked Oregon State team.

I picked USC because personally I think we could kick the crap out of them. I think if Florida would be in it, we would have a harder time. Notre Dame I don't think has a shot. Dorks Up North don't deserve it because they didn't win their conferance.

If Michigan makes it to the BCS national championship game, what the hell was the point of November 18? Would one of my greatest memories of an Ohio State football game be for nothing?

I'm not saying that Ohio State should decline an invitation. It's just that there's no scenario that would make Saturday's game as big as it should have been, if Michigan goes to the BCS national championship game. If Michigan thinks they should be in the national championship game, they should have won on November 18.

That isn't to say that I don't believe that Michigan isn't #2. I think they are the second best team in the country. But they had their shot. Give USC or Florida a shot.

Arkansas.

Only cause I live here and I would love nothing more than to kill them in the NC game (and kill the constant "McFadden for Heisman" talk going on here...) And also, being in television, there's the outside chance I could go help cover it :biggrin2:

But I know that's a slim possibility, so my second pick is USC.

I watched most of the 1974 USC-ND game on ESPNC this afternoon. Woody was the color commentator. Keith Jackson had to prompt him a few times to make comments but it was great hearing Woody analyze the plays and the Woodyspeak was nostalgic. "It's going to be a whale of a second half, yes it is."

My preference is USC in the NC but it'll be a great game whoever the opponent and the Buckeyes will prevail.

I want USC.

The rich traditions both programs have, the storied meetings in the Grandaddy of the Bowls (the Rose Bowl), and arguably two of the top programs in the past 5 years would make for an epic meeting and epic hype.

Plus, USC has, IMO, a decent defense with decent speed that would be a challenge for OSU.

I don't think Florida would be as good of a game as USC, that is, I don't think Florida would give the Bucks as good of a game as USC.

Bring on the Trojans and enjoy OSU being in a third game that could be billed as the game of the year (to go with the Texas game and scUM game).

Who do you want to play for the NC?

I want USC. Combined we have 2.5 of the last 4 NCs, so let's take Petey down a notch on national TV. TSUN should only be played on the 3rd Saturday in November, and Florida can try to prove "the best conference" can actually beat the Big East champion again for all I care.

How about you?
