Ok, just for you, BB73:

Ohio State is in the bonus.

The game is a NCAA tournament game at a neutral site vs Butler.

Butler has their starting lineup (Green, Graves, Ligon, Crone, and Betko) in the game. You don't know what defense the Butler coach will have them in.

You are now out of time outs; so you can't call another time out to discuss how they're matched up after everyone takes the court.
Well, with Butler's obvious lack of size, I'd easily go with Oden for a designed play. He may not take the shot, but I'd have to at least design it for him and get him the ball. Whoever he may kick it out to after that doesn't matter between Conley, Butler, Lewis, and Harris/Cook, they could all knock down a jumper. But Oden drawing the attention is key in that situation.

In that case, Twigs. But he's not on the list. :wink2:

Some factors come into play.

Are we in the bonus or double-bonus? Are we at home or on the road? Who is likely guarding each of tOSU's guys?

While extremely grateful for Conley's heroics Sunday, I went with Butler.

I just thought that the headline "Butler Beats Butler On A Buzzer Beater" sounded cool.

Depends who is hot at the time.

Forget it folks, we got a genius here. Instead of going with the guy who hasn't made a shot all night, lets go with whoever is hot. Thats what I think we should do. Hell with this kind of insight you should be a basketball coach Thump.

Sky doesn't appear to be a follower of Dale Carnegie.

Tourney's not over yet ... still plenty of time for other heroes to be made, but point taken.

I will say that it's a surprise to see so many votes for Butler. Cook may be in an extended slump, but Butler swings hot-to-cold so fast you don't know which one will show up for a half, much less a game. Only Butler, two days after raining threes on an already over-matched directional community college, and in the midst of the TV announcers bragging on him hitting 93-of-100 3 pointers in a practice once, would throw up a shot that reminds me of myself in my driveway and miss the rim by at least a foot. Regardless of Lewis's heroics against X, I'm 50/50 on Butler.

You left off the most important factor....the score.

Are we tied? In that case I want Butler with the ball. He can either sink the shot or get fouled. Either way the game is over.

If we're down one or two I want Conley driving the ball in two man game with Oden. My opinion is that this combination is the hardest to defense in college basketball right now. We should get a really favorable outcome here.

If we're down three.. well we saw the outcome this weekend. Ron Lewis is ice when it comes to the pressure 3. Gotta give it to Ron.
