Who's your favorite Buckeye...2008?

I pick Malcolm Jenkins!

Here's a guy who was likely to be one of the top DBs in the draft (a 1st round guy IMO) gave up all that money that was coming to him. He chose to represent the Buckeyes for another year.....that's ALL HEART to me! This guy is a true buckeye! I have a feeling that this decision may well have played a role in a few other juniors coming back for their senior seasons.

It may also set a trend that a no. of juniors to come might follow!

outside of the obvious choices

Ray gun man

I can see Ray Small having a breakout year when he gets his route running skills down; along with improvement in the QB position.

We're gonna need him. Hopefully he'll be our deep ball threat. I don't think that we have one yet.

Malcolm Jenkins easily. He is an absolute shut down corner in every sense of the word. I can't remember the last time I have seen a CB this dominate in college in a long time. He doesn't get the hype because he doesn't get the ball thrown to him, thus not having that many INT's that people commonly judge(unfairly btw) CB's by.

Then it's Beanie.

Offense: Beanie. The man is a warrior and represents everything I think a Buckeye should be. Busts his ass, plays hurt and doesn't run his mouth; he lets his actions speak for him.

Defense: Laurinaitis and Jenkins. They passed up millions to come back and give it another go. Both out of state kids that have become true Buckeyes. How can you not love that?

Tough call but great thread...I gotta say Lil Animal. He is probably the meanest, most intense competitor I can remember at OSU. One look at him in the middle has to invoke fear in the opposing offense. Hawk had that look but James looks even meaner. Plus I love his quotes and dedication to OSU and the fans. Before he came back it probably would have been Beanie because he is such a treat to watch.
