I think it is common knowledge that Red Sox fans are pretty consumed with everything Yankees. I don't think it is as much the other way though. Yankees hate the Sox, but the Sox are consumed with the Yankees. Not that it is a particularly bad thing. Considering their history and how until recently the Yanks have owned them, that could lead to an obsession.

Thanks for steering us back on track, and I agree wholeheartedly with you.

If you ask people in Michigan how big our rivalry was in the 90's, they say not so large. Ask then now and they are obsessed with everything Buckeye.

Also, if anyone here actually believes that the Yankees will spend the season in last place, are in plain denial. They are struggling now, and have injuries to key members of their pitching staff, not a lot of teams could survive that. What would happen if the Sox lost 2 or 3 of their starters? I doubt they would be sitting in First Place.

you can keep your seats open on the Red Socks bandwagon - i'm happy being a White Sox fan where we dont obsess with other teams.
