Windows 7 & Printer

So I just tried installing my HP PSC 1410 printer, however I am unable to complete installation because the setup does not support Windows 7 (it only goes through XP operating system). Are there drivers that I can install that will allow me to complete the printer set up, or how can I go about doing this? Thanks.

You must get a signed Windows 7 driver, because 7 does not run the kernel-mode drivers from previous MS operating systems.

Something that worked for me:

Plugged it in, went to printers, add a printer and it went through the steps and added it. Voila, everything was perfect, no disc or download needed.
