Another B1G scheduling quirk that has one team facing the other on the road for the second straight year.

Well, if tOSU can beat Illinois twice in a row in Champaign, Sparty can nail Wiscy again on the banks of the old Red Cedar, right?

For those still unsure about the divisions, Wiscy is in tOSU's division, and Sparty isn't.

Wisconsin wins ∞ - 0. Gholston looks on helplessly as Russell Wilson levitates over the d-line and bagtags Sparty (the mascot) en route to 5 touchdowns. Bielema devours the entire MSU postgame buffet and looks in vain for Dantonio as the fifth course.

Wisconsin at -8.5 seems a bit high to me. Considering their propensity to annually stub their toe, considering what happened last year, and with this being Wisconsin's first true road game, I'm surprised at that line.

Aren't they the first team to ever have 6 straight 30+ point wins to open a season?

This is probably blasphemy, but I'm pulling for Wiscy here. Two reasons - it helps the B1G to have a team in the national title hunt, so that if Oklahoma stubs their toe, Bucky has a chance at getting in. That's good for us. Good exposure.

Plus, if Nebraska can earn their way to Indy, we'd have another shot at the Badgers. I think Wisconsin is better than Nebraska, but Nebraska is better than they showed at Camp Randall. Redemption, please.

I'll be staying away from this one (besides vcash), but I like Sparty to cover. Wisconsin's first road game, at night, Michigan State has a good D & running game. I expect Wisconsin to win, but closer than 8.5 or 9.

In time, you'll learn to hate Bucky as much as the rest of us. Go Spartans.

Indeed. The order of hate in-conference around here is 1)scUM tied for 2) PoSU and Bucky 3)whoever we feel like making fun of at the moment. Bucky is starting to overtake PoSU a bit as the Lions keep sucking.
