ohio state will not win a national championship until they can get a championship level defense back. Right now, this defensive can't stop anyone but Florida A&M. Meyer needs to start finding some studs on D.

Interested to see how the D adjusts in the second half. It's gonna hurt if they have to throw help Roby's way in the 2nd half, because that could be the spark they need to get their running game going. Don't want that on top of them tearing apart the secondary. I just don't get Roby. He looked like a frosh out there. Abberdaris is a very good receiver, but come on. He's making our "All-American" look like a scUM corner circa GERG.

run game. Run game and pass game is working.
14 pts given up in the 1st half by the D. Could have been more but you have to earn points not
have them given to you. Wisky has had to play with a long field much of the game. We are starting to get pressure on the QB but we need better coverage and need to make sure we wrap up when tackling. Abracadabra is the magic man for UW. Got to keep him contained.

Hyde is averaging over 8 yards a carry and has been inches away for breaking one loose. Same for braxton running the ball.... we have only ran 34 plays so kudos to them for making us play there style of game.
Run with hyde and hit them with playaction.
Overall we just need to blitz and generate a pass rush because this three man and four man rush ain't workin

We have "studs", the recruiting is at the same level, maybe higher than before. That points to coaching.

Coaches need to do some serious brainstorming re: pass D. The Cal game was understandable. They had great talent and their QB was hitting some amazing passes. This game is unacceptable. UW couldn't be more wide open and it's starting to open up the run game.
