Really? Then he'd get blasted (like last year) for RUTS. The game was over at halftime, and Phillips has had 3 ACL surgeries. There is no reason to throw in that situation.

Very nice. Outstanding motivation here for tOSU to beat Wiscy:
- Beat the team that will represent the leaders division
- Shutdown the talking heads who will spend the entire game talking about Monsieur Ball
- Do not let Monsieur Ball tie of beat the NCAA rushing touchdown record
- Show the world that the real Mr Ball runs the ball for tOSU and has a first name of Warren
- exorcise the past ghosts of narrow-margin-of-victory over Indiana with Wiscy blowing out Wiscy and setting a Wiscy school rushing record 564 yards against Indy
- show the world that Wiscy running is NOT back
- finally, the defensive line really gets to stop the run
- Zach Boren gets to become a legend at middle linebacker
- no pesky scat backs

Exactly the game was over. You aren't going to beat Ohio State with your Qb only having 7 attempts. He did his QB a disservice by not having him throw 15-20 times this game in to get he reps before OSU. If the Qb was Stave and a known quantity I'd agree with you but he's not and needs all the reps he can get.
