  • As I've posted elsewhere, the wifey and I are expecting kiddo #2. This got us to thinking about wifey possibly staying home and doing the work at home thing.

I've spent the last couple of hours looking at different work at home websites and while some of the data entry jobs look legit (although my first impression is it's a SCAM), I was wondering if anyone out there had any insights on this topic....

I've been working from home as a consultant for the past 10 months, doing what I previously did for employers. It's been great, primarily because clients have stuck with me. Not knowing what your lovely spouse does for a living makes it difficult to evaluate the possibility of her doing the same thing. :wink2:

Relative to any "work at home" website, you couldn't talk me into logging onto one of those with your computer, much less mine.

It's not a big deal now, I've completely talked her down.

Most "data entry" jobs are essentially link posting on various different sites. It's not worth it.

Does she have a home phone?

"NaughtyBuckeyeBabes. We're sitting at home just waiting for your call." :pimp:

    Go to "Arise.com"

Its a site that subcontracts people to work as CSR's for various companies such as Home Depot, Walgreens and Carnival Cruise lines. It generally pays $1.50/call, you will make between $10-15/hr easy. I have several friends doing it right now. The only downside is you have to have a dedicated phoneline...its a 15-20/week minimum.
